He graduated from Gale College, Galesville, Wisconsin in 1914. He served in World War I, and was a Justice of the Peace for many years. He was assistant treasurer at his father’s bank for 20 years. She has served as a nurse and is now “Superintendent of Red Cross Nurses in Southern U.S.A.” headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. — Bertha Adella, graduated from Lutheran Ladies’ Seminary, in Redwing Minnesota, Stout Institute in Menomonie, Wisconsin, and Minnesota State University. She has worked as a teacher for several years. She married Elmer Swanson November 19, 1924. Their son Robert was born in 1925, their daughter Barbara Ann in 1926. They now reside in Wanamingo, Minnesota. — Bernard Arthur, went to school at Belview, at St. Olaf College, and at the State University. He served as President of the St. Olaf Concert Band, as a school superintendent in many towns from 1920, lastly at Dawson, Minnesota. He was a soldier. MRS. KOLBEN GRANE (Elisabet S. Stokke) was born in Breim in 1880, came to Belview in 1900, married Grane 1908. Their oldest son, Arthur, married Alida Viergutz. They have one daughter. Arthur’s brothers are Lawrence and Walter. Their sister Evylyn has attended Augustana College. She is a teacher.

They have 2 daughters: Eunice, 28 years old; and Muriel (Mrs. Kerney), 22. — J.B.Johnson’s father is from Aarheim in Styrn and came to Bricelyn with his parents in 1869. Ben O. Johnson, son of O.P.J. Haugen, was assistant postmaster in Benson, married Ethel S. Troy June 12, 1925. They have 2 children. — K.A. Bø [Boe] from Styrn settled in Chippewa County in 1867. (Information about J.B.
